Sports Competition.

This year, the HOPE school took part in a sports competition. We competed against 17 other Schools in a range of sports inclusing Kabadi, Coco, Football and Athletics. As it was our first year in the competition, we were very nervous yet excited and the children couldn't wait to take part. The girls Coco was a great success. The girls flew through each round and played outstandingly. They won each game and won the first place position.

The girls were extremely happy. As you can see above, the headteacher hands them the first place award shield. Below is the all of the girls Coco players along with their certificates.

The girls Kabadi was also a great success. They fought hard through each game and reached the final where they gained the runner up position. We were extremely proud of their courage and commitment evident in each game. Below is the girls Kabadi team along with their certificates.

The last day of the event saw the 7th and 8th Standard boys Football. The boys demonstrated tremendous skill and managed to gain the runner up position in the competition. We are extremely proud of them and below is a picture of the team with their certificates along with their coach.

All in all, the whole event was a great success. We are so proud of all of the children who took part and we cannot wait for the event next year.

Annual Day

On 30th July, the HOPE school hosted its 'Annual Day' performance in a nearby church hall. The children carried out a range of performances including dance, drama, singing and rhymes. There was also a prize giving ceremony in which children gained prizes for highest ranking, attendance and neatness.

The chief guests, along with the head teacher handed prizes to the children during the prize giving ceremony. The following are some pictures of the children's performances.
